Above is the view from just outside our hotel room! The weekend and wedding were everything I thought they would be. Wonderful event, and fun to go somewhere new! Beautifully sunny too. Found out that there's really no town of "Bodega Bay" as I had thought from the Birds movie. There is a town of Bodega a few miles inland from the bay. There are several old buildings there, including a church where part of the movie was filmed. Other parts were filmed in a restaurant which is north of the bay, and which has subsequently burned down and was then rebuilt. We visited and it looks really nice, beautiful views of the bay, if we ever come back. The rest was filmed at Universal Studios. Who knew?
