In my Information Technology Tools & Applications class last semester, we set up a blog on the school server via WordPress. This software worked just fine, and was very intuitive. Unfortunately, it requires you to maintain a server. Since that connection is scheduled to go away any day now, I thought I'd try a blogging software that took care of this detail for me.
When I was selecting user names I tried several variations on julie. These were all taken - I didn't feel like having to type julie92830849823984 everytime I logged in. Then I thought of "guyandjulie" but this was not available, so I had to settle on guynjulie. I was curious to see who the other Guy and Julie were and they look pretty interesting. I was thrilled to discover that they have a pet hedgehog. Here's a link if you want to take a look. Perhaps I'll send them a note in the future. Then again, perhaps not everyone is as fascinated with the fact that two couples on planet Earth have the same first names!!!
Anyhow, here's a fun photo of us. This was a very fun and memorable trip we took last spring.
