You would think that living in Stockton would be considerably cooler than Modesto in the summer, given its proximity to the Delta. But you would be wrong, at least in 2006!
At least we're still cooler than Fresno by 2-4 degrees each day, and we cool down a lot more at night.

Yes 110! I can't believe it. The heat in the valley is usually dry, so it's not too bad, but the last few weeks, there has been a high level of humidity. Combine that with the poor air quality and it's downright oppressive.
I just finished 1 1/2 hours of yardwork at 9:45 am, and it's already 95 degrees with 31% humidity! I'm jumping in the shower right after this. CRANK UP THE A/C!!
