Well folks, we shattered all previous records in Stockton.
It hit 112 on Saturday and 115 on Sunday!
Fortunately it's cooled down a few degrees, and today's high is supposed to be just 108.
Next weekend we are going up to Santa Rosa for Uncle Johnny's surprise birthday party, and by then it will be in the comfortable 90s here and 80s there. We took Monday off, so maybe we'll get to do some wine tasting that day!
I finally tried Pepsi One after Wendy's been bugging me to do it for months. She brought a can in from home. No offense, but I must say I am not impressed. It tastes strange to me compared to my diet Pepsi. Maybe my taste buds are permanently wrecked. I wonder what the long-term effects of all the artificial sweetners I consume on an average day are. Don't really want to know.
Amanda and her family are well on their way to Austin. Hope they made it by now. I can't wait to go and visit them once they are settled in.
