This has been a fun and busy summer. In addition to the several trips we've taken around California, we've been to the Stockton Ports stadium (beautiful), the Modesto Nuts stadium (kind of depressing), Concert in the Park, and the water front.
Since I'm in the habit of taking a break from school over the summer, I've been working on several projects. I've completed phase 1 of my stamp collection. I have disposed of all my CD jewel boxes, and added them alphabetically into black nylon binders to free up space.
On the subject of CDs, before you give them away to friends (like I did), or to the library or the goodwill, you should really go to Amoeba. For those outside of Northern California, Amoeba is like the best music store on the planet. They've got a huge selection of new and used CDs in every genre, and new and used DVDs. Since I'm not buying any more CDs, I decided to bring in those I had left. Amazingly, I got $75.00 in store credit! So we ended up buying some DVDs and I bought 2 more CDs I wanted to copy to my machine.
P.S. Does anyone remember this single by Styx in the 80's? (Music Time)
