I haven't tried making pretezels since we were living in the apartment last year. Since it's been raining all day, it seemed like an opportune time to try again. This time I used the same recipe, but added an egg wash per Alton Brown. I also rolled them out a lot longer - makes it much easier to shape!! They still look fairly rustic (read: uneven). No matter. They were still delicious and satisfying to make!
