Yesterday was busy. We went to Modesto and purchased our marriage license. No turning back now! It took all of five minutes, since we'd previously printed and filled out online. I think $75.00 is pretty steep. That doesn't even include the Marriage Certificate, which we'll have to come back for after the wedding. The officiant has to complete the certificate and send it back to the county before we can even get it. That will be $14.00. Oh well, it's worth it! The funniest thing was that while we were in line, Guy was cracking jokes with the clerks as usual. She said "Well you guys have been married before, right?" (If you don't get that, you are too young)... Ah the wisdom of old age.
