My friend Wendy threw me an after-work bridal shower last night. It was absolutely perfect. They had fondue, veggies, dips, chips, variety of tea and aram sandwiches, cake and punch. In addition to the girls in her office, we had several folks from my office come too. There were even surprise guests:
Frank was kind enough to drive Mom and Mimi up. Everyone was in on it except me. I was so thrilled to see them. I think they enjoyed meeting my friends and co-workers too. Mom brought her almost-famous fudge and it was a huge hit. I don't know what I'll do with all these "nighties". Thanks everyone and especially Wendy and Toni who orchestrated the whole thing. They know me so well that they knew exactly what I'd like. Wonderful!!! Thanks to everyone who came, cooked, helped, ate, plotted, planned, shopped, etc....
