Our brunch was a rousing success! I'll post more photos when Mom sends them. I was too busy trying to play hostess and make sure everyone was doing all right. Including us, there were 12 people! Everyone from both immediate families came (except Dad and Lisa of course) and John and Susie were there too. I had been preparing for a few weeks, but the bulk of the work went on Friday and Saturday.
Guy worked on the yards for several hours Friday, and early Saturday morning. I was able to purchase some items ahead, and everything else Friday. I cooked Friday evening and finished up Saturday morning. I know that we should entertain more, but I don't feel comfortable/good at it. We have his brothers or parents over sometimes, but that's it. Our next event will be just another couple here. Now, what to prepare? Everyone called today to say how much they enjoyed it, so perhaps it will become an annual tradition.
