Tomorrow we'll be heading over to the coast in preparation for our wedding. I'm up late because I am so excited that I can't sleep (even though my eyes are telling me otherwise). Since I have no relevant photos, I will write a garden post.
Many months ago, I purchased an Annie's Annuals plant from a local nursery. I planted it and it did pretty much nothing for several weeks. About 2-3 weeks ago, I observed it was growing, and a week ago, I saw these interesting bended fuzzy heads. Then last week, I saw this - this beautiful poppy. Guy took this excellent photograph. Today I notice two more with four folded flaps (petals) so hopefully I'll be able to see them before we leave tomorrow morning.
Above, a quick shot of my herbs. I've since planted tarragon, oregano and some dill.
Here's my galvanized tub planting from that same day. Not a great shot, but if you compare to my last photo, they've grown quite a lot.
