Books I've Completed This Week

I finished "When We Were Romans", and "The Last Lecture".
I'm sure you've heard about the Last Lecture, written by Carnegie Melon
Randy Pausch, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer last summer.
I like to occasionally dip into this type of lesson-learning book, as it is fast to read,
makes me more appreciative for what I have, and even provides new tenets to live by.
The two items I remember most are "It doesn't hurt to ask", and "Brick walls are there for other people.". I used the analogy several times during this frustrating week at work with the Ben Admin project.

"When We Were Romans" is written from the viewpoint of a nine-year old boy. If you enjoyed "A Curious Dog in the Nighttime", you should enjoy this.

Not going to be doing quite as much pleasure-reading over the next few months, as I start to ramp up my library experience through volunteering and other projects, but I will try to keep it up!
