Relaxing Sunday

The weather has been so beautiful over the past few days, that we've tried to get out as much as possible. We spent a few hours yesterday working on the house up in Stockton with Guy's brother, then had lunch. The photo above is the Haggin Museum, taken from our front porch. It is truly a gem, and I encourage you to stop by there if you're ever in the area.

Today we took a drive out to Waterford. Guy remember a Mexican restaurant he used to frequent back in college, and I thought it would be a nice scenic drive that wasn't too far away.
We were pleasantly surprised to find that:
1. It was still there [although Guy commented that the area had changed a lot]
2. The food was wonderful!! [I had an enchilada that I wouldn't order again, but the chile colorado , beans, rice and homemade flour tortillas were delicious! Needless to say, we left feeling quite full, having eaten too much. I tend to do that at Mexican restaurants.]

Mom and Frank dropped by for about an hour on their way home from visiting friends in the Bay Area for the weekend, so that was fun. So glad we're off tomorrow, and I'm getting really excited about the inauguration!
