I'm On Facebook!

I've finally succumbed - the curiosity factor was getting the best of me.
The only people who know about our blog are my Facebook "Friends".
Trina is the first person I know who had a page. Over Christmas, my friend
Amanda mentioned it during our visit, and last week, a co-worker invited me,
so I took the plunge!

Reasons I resisted:1. I'm too old
2. Most people I know don't have a Facebook page
3. Why should I join?

For those of you who see me on Facebook, please bear with me. I am not up-to-speed
on etiquette, and I'm trying to lock down my privacy settings, so things will change.

In addition to curiosity, I also feel it's important to be familiar with this application for my
future "career" since many students I'll interact with will use social networking apps. But this is an experiment, so we'll see what happens.
