I love my sandwiches. When I go out to lunch, at least 80% of the time, I'll order a sandwich, hot or cold, meat or veggie. I also make a pretty mean sandwich. Guy likes it when I put them under the broiler. I'm always searching for a good deli. Here in town, there are not THAT many restaurants beyond the chains. We have all the typical places (McDonald, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, In n Out, Chipotle (which we've recently discovered), El Pollo Loco, Subway, Quizno's etc...)
But ever since I met Guy, our favorite sandwich place has been Togo's. I love their sandwiches. We have always gotten great service, and are always pleased with our meal. The photo above is a large #4, which we order and split. If you don't frequent Togo's, please try it just once. I guarantee that it is better than any other "chain"; however, most of you probably have better restaurant access than we do! (So I will need to visit you to discover these places!)
Don't get me wrong, I love the little hole-in-the-wall places, but we just haven't found them yet.
Oh, I LOVE Togos! Haven't been to one in awhile, though. There's one across town, but I hardly go. I love their hot pastrami.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of pastrami, there's a fantastic Chicago-style deli in the Hayes Valley neighborhood that Dick and I walk to once in a while. It's fantastic! We'll have to go together when you're in town! :)
